Hooded men intervened at the start of the afternoon in the Saint-Césaire area in Nîmes, with around forty tractors.

More than fifty hooded people, around forty tractors went this Monday afternoon towards the Auchan warehouse in Saint-Césaire.

They set fire to a pile of tires, dumped manure, then burned a bunch of trash.

The depot portal is still blocked. The events happened about fifty meters from a ceremony presided over by the prefect, at the Saint-Césaire barracks.

Several striking actions took place on the sidelines of the occupation of the A9 by farmers in Nîmes. Including the fire at customs, Friday evening after Gabriel Attal's speech.

Nîmes remains one of the bastions of agricultural demonstrations. The motorway remains completely cut between Nîmes and Gallargues-le-Montueux. However, a section has reopened in the North-South direction between Roquemaure and Nîmes.
