VTC drivers mobilized in the streets of Montpellier this Thursday, June 6, in particular for greater accessibility in the Hérault city.

VTC drivers demonstrated this Thursday, June 6, in Montpellier, to defend their demands. They are demanding in particular greater accessibility in the various deserted areas (stations, airports), as well as better recognition of their status at the national level.

To travel in the Hérault capital, the Montpellier Federation of VTCs (FMVTC) requires a "guaranteed access to the pedestrian zone including the boulevard du Jeu de Paume", indicates its president.

A badge to benefit from one free hour

Regarding the Gare Sud de France, Montpellier drivers aspire to "the creation of a badge to extend the 15 free minutes to one hour , minute drop-off side."

Same principle for Montpellier airport, in order to allow passengers to be picked up as close as possible. A subject discussed with the airport management who received representatives of the federation this Thursday.

The FMVTC, however, did not have access to the Town Hall and the Metropolis, to the great dismay of its president. "Some receive us, others decide to ignore us… ". The Federation is already planning new demonstrations.
