Rudy is a beekeeper in Bassan. This Friday, January 26, they were with their colleagues at the angry demonstration of the peasant world, which rallied to Montpellier, to demonstrate in front of the Hérault prefecture. He talks about his job and his living conditions. Be careful, it stings!

Rudy comes from Bassan, in Biterrois, where he is a professional beekeeper. Mas du Thym is him. This Friday, he came to Montpellier with other players in the sector. His message is short: “We have nothing to eat!” We work but we don't get paid. Yet pollination is super important, without it, without us, there is nothing left!"

There are about ten of them, in uniform, smoker in hand: "The State is smoking us out”, they say ironically. Over the last two years, we have been given between 500 € and 3500 € while we have suffered heatwaves and droughts. We don’t collect anything and we fill out patient files! And the insurance companies that don't want to insure us, it's a disaster"
