Le Championnat de France des rallyes reprend ses droits ce week-end à Antibes.

After the roads of the Côte d’Opale, then those of the Monts du Lyonnais, it is the famous special stages of the Nice hinterland which await the leaders of the French Rally Championship from this Friday departing from ;rsquo;Antibes.

From best to worst for Rossel

First winner of the season at Le Touquet, Gardois Léo Rossel went from best to worst during the following round by finishing it prematurely and harshly after a series of rolls. A mistake of which he is not accustomed and which he will obviously be in a hurry to forget in the company of his co-driver Guillaume Mercoiret, while keeping an eye on the performances of his older brother Yohan in Portugal.

Bonato, the direct opponent

Winner of the previous round at Charbonnières at the wheel of an identical Citroën C3, Yoann Bonato will obviously be one of his direct opponents, in the same way as ;Anthony Fotia, his teammate, Eric Camilli and Hugo Margaillan, the latter two aboard a Hyundai i20N.

This Antibes Côte d’Azur rally should also confirm the rise in power of the Sarrazin team and its three Ford Fiestas shared by Jean-Baptiste Franceschi, Rehane Gany and the leader of the women's championship, the Alésienne Sarah Rumeau.
