As expected, Arthur Cazaux will make his return to Barcelona then to Madrid and not to the Masters 1000 in Monte-Carlo

Un temps annoncé au Masters 1000 de Monte-Carlo, Arthur Cazaux reprendra finalement le fil de sa saison à Barcelone puis à Madrid.
He was ultimately not 100% fit. While he was announced for the Monte-Carlo Masters 1000 qualifiers against Dominic Thiem, Arthur Cazaux will not immediately resume his season.
Some people thought, quite wrongly, that he had given up qualifying for the Monaco tournament in order to benefit from an invitation to the main draw.
But according to our information, the Montpellier native was just not physically ready, almost three weeks after his discomfort during qualifying for the Miami tournament.
Oh la petite déception du jour…
Arthur Cazaux est finalement forfait et ne participera pas au Masters 1000 de Monte-Carlo !

The paintings of Barcelona then Madrid
Instead of starting his season on clay in the Principality, with Roland-Garros in his sights (May 26 & June 9), Arthur Cazaux will be taking part in the tournament. will align well with the tournaments in Barcelona (ATP 500) then Madrid (Masters 1000).
For the first city, Héraultais is the first replacement, therefore requiring a single withdrawal to enter the main draw. For the Madrid event, however, Cazaux is already assured of competing in the main draw.
