Four Hérault teams played on both tables of the Hérault and Occitanie cups and therefore played the first, Wednesday evening, in advanced matches, before seeking to qualify for the second, this week -end. Frontignan and Atlas Paillade are still in the running to double the lead. La Clermontaise and Fabrègues were eliminated from the Coupe de l'Hérault.

With the succession of matches and Cups, Clermontaise (R1) who will play this Sunday in the Coupe d’Occitanie, was trapped by Puissalicon Magalas (D1) this Wednesday, January 24 at night, in the Coupe de l  ;rsquo;Hérault (1-0). A round of 16 interspersed during the week for three other matches, with the performance’ also for Bessan (D3), victorious over Fabrègues (R1), 3-2.

L'Atlas Paillade on a cloud

A largely overhauled blood and gold team, in bad shape in the championship and whose priority is probably not to chase three hares at once. Beaten last Saturday by Atlas Paillade (1-0) in the Regional, it shares the penultimate place with Uzès, in the last relegation position, two lengths behind 9th, Vendargues, and six behind Bagnols Bridges, 8th.
L’Atlas who was also there this Wednesday evening, on the lawn of Florensac-Pinet (D2). And this time, logic was respected since the Montpellier residents won 2-0. Eighth victory in a row in all competitions, for Mustapha Habouch's group.

Place in Occitanie

At the same time, Frontignan (R1) also passed the round by winning over Villeneuve-Les-Béziers (D3), 5-1. We will find the Muscatiers this Saturday, January 27 in the Lot in Biars sur Cère (R1), in the round of 16 of the Coupe Occitanie.
At the same time, Fabrègues will go to Millau (R3) and on Sunday, 3 p.m., Atlas Paillade will challenge Ouest Aveyron (D1) and Clermontaise, Saint-Gaudens (R2).
