The body of a man was found by two fishermen this Sunday afternoon. It floated in the Tarn at Saint-Rome-de-Tarn. An autopsy to determine the identity of the deceased and the causes of death will take place this Tuesday afternoon in Montpellier.  

The body found this Sunday afternoon in the Tarn by two fishermen in Saint-Rome-de-Tarn has not yet been identified. The corpse, a man, will be autopsied this Tuesday afternoon in Montpellier confirmed, this Monday morning, the public prosecutor of Aveyron Nicolas Rigot-Muller. The autopsy will make it possible to put a name to the victim and determine the circumstances of his death.

The 3rd person found dead in the water

In two months, this is the third person found dead in water in the department. On February 5, a septuagenarian who had been missing for two days was discovered dead in the waters of the Aveyron river, very close to her vehicle parked on the banks. On February 16, still in the same river, the body of a woman was found in the town of Monteil.
