Le mercredi 10 juillet 2024, le site Rappel conso a alerté sur la vente de plusieurs steaks hachés contenant la bactérie E-Coli.

Four references are concerned: Charolais butcher-style meat 500 grams 12% fat (Cora tasting), minced steaks 12% fat (Cora tasting), Charolais minced meat butcher's style 12% fat (Leclerc local alliances/Puigrenier) and Charolais butcher's hair angel hair 12% fat or Charolais butcher's style minced steaks 12 and 15% fat. % fat (Puigrenier).

Symptoms of poisoning

"Toxigenic Shiga Escherichia coli (STEC) can cause diarrhea, sometimes bloody diarrhea, abdominal pain and vomiting in the week following the consumption of contaminated products. , accompanied or not by fever. These symptoms can be followed (5 to 8% of cases) by severe kidney complications, mainly in children, warns the site.

Adding that "people who have consumed the products mentioned above and who present this type of symptoms are invited to consult their treating doctor without delay, informing them this consumption as well as the place and date of purchase. In the absence of symptoms within 15 days after consumption of the products concerned, there is no need to worry and consult a doctor.

Furthermore, it is recommended to cook ground meat thoroughly, particularly for immunocompromised people, children and pregnant women.
