Béziers: the automobile, eco-mobility and utility show is in full swing at the exhibition center until Monday

Back after six years of absence, the Béziers auto show is an opportunity to bring together local players in the automobile market for three days.

The exhibition center had not seen such a grouping of vehicles within it for six years. The last time, in 2018, the detestable social context and the unpredictable weather got the better of the event. This time, nothing could get in the way of the Béziers automobile, eco-mobility and utility show. Around twenty exhibitors, almost all from Biterrois, have been taking over the three halls of the exhibition center since this Saturday and until Monday.

"Room for everyone"

Yesterday, the organizers, Midi Libre, the Evelyne Agency and the Hérault Chamber of Commerce and Industry, inaugurated the show, between joy and solemnity&nbsp ;: "It is essential to bring this event up to date, to systematize it and above all not to compare it with others which may take place in Montpellier, believes the Biterrois Olivier Leyssenot, elected member of the CCI Hérault. There is room for everyone, but we still have to do it intelligently with partners and communities. We are very happy to host this show for three days and we hope that the attendance will be there."

In Béziers, this promotion of the automobile sector makes sense since the local market represents 0.6% of the national market and approximately 2,000 direct or indirect jobs: “It is an economic lung, something that structures cities, which presents new developments,” continues Olivier Leyssenot. Motor shows, if they still exist today, are because they are truly effective and of real interest."

Until Monday, this is an opportunity for visitors to meet local eco-mobility players, discover new models of thermal, electric and hybrid vehicles or to better understand a sector in the midst of an ecological transition.
