Anti-gentrification movement or reaction to the removal of several parking spaces ? It is, to date, difficult to determine the demands of those who punctured the tires of several bicycles at Marseille.
"Go live in the country"
During the night from Friday 24 to Saturday 25 May, several bicycles were vandalized in rue Abbé de l'Épée in the Phocaean city. Messages were posted by the authors of these incivilities: "Bobo out. Go live in the countryside", punctuated with a winged penis.
#cyclophobie https://t.co/CWMZZU9mPu

According to a resident contacted by La Provence : "There are around ten of bicycles whose tires have been punctured. The mayor of the 4th and 5th arrondissements says she is "saddened by these damages".< /p>
No complaints
The identity of the tire punctures is still unknown and the Marseille police headquarters has not received any complaints on this subject, according to our colleagues from Parisian.
