Boulomanes celebrate Saint Aphrodisias

It is the tradition for the boulomaniac association to celebrate Saint Aphrodisias and to taste cockles. Lou camel, the camel who came from Egypt with the saint, was however absent, detained by the preparation of the Caritats, another Béziers festival.

It is at the Moureu stadium, in the Font-Neuve district, that this little party took place. Jean Abel, the president, surrounded by his team and around thirty members and guests, welcomed Marc Valette, municipal advisor to sports associations as well as Marie Mouyset, president of the Champ de Mars neighborhood committee where the club formerly played.

After a few words from Jean Abel, Jacques Gillot, representative of the Font Neuve neighborhood committee, renewed his welcome to the club, delighting its passionate members.
