“But how much will it cost us ?”: what difference in price between the Arceaux car park which is closing and the Pitot car park ?

Le parking des Arceaux ferme définitivement à partir de ce dimanche 31 mars au soir. La solution proposée est de garer son véhicule au parking Pitot à 300 mètres.

Users of the Arceaux car park will have to find solutions to park their vehicles from April 1st after its closure. The solution proposed by the town hall is to refer to the Pitot car park located 300 meters away. In addition to the location which some find a little too far from the neighborhood, concern about the price is at the center of concerns: "That How much will this story cost us ?"

Higher rates expected

The maximum price for 24 hours in Les Arceaux was 17.60 euros compared to 27.30 euros for Pitot. On the other hand, by the hour, the price is not as impactful: 2.10 euros for a duration of one hour compared to 2.20 euros. Two hours 4.10 euros versus 4.20 euros and three hours 6.10 euros versus 6.20 euros.

Subscriptions are possible throughout the year for people with unlimited parking during office hours from 80 euros per month or 24 hours a day from 122 ;nbsp;euros per month.

A sufficient number of places and a sheltered vehicle

The 135 spaces at Les Arceaux can be absorbed by the Pitot car park and its 600 spaces. The advantage of the Pitot car park compared to Les Arceaux lies in the fact that it is below – ground so the vehicle is safe.

Other solutions

Among the other solutions proposed to compensate for the elimination of spaces in the Arceaux car park, the Gambetta car park and its 470 spaces and the 16 short-term parking spaces (30 minutes free) close to the shops on the boulevard des Arceaux, rue Saint-Louis and rue Duval-Jouve.
