After finishing second in its Challenge Cup group, the MHR qualified for the round of 16 of the competition, during which it will host an Irish club transferred from the Challenge Cup according to the table revealed by the ;EPCR this Sunday, January 21.

Thanks to this second place following the group stage, ended after a defeat in Treviso on Saturday, Montpellier Hérault Rugby ensured to receive until the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup.

A possible Montpellier – Clermont in the quarter-finals
