Espoo, qui est la seconde ville finlandaise, a trouvé le remède pour éviter que les jeunes n’envahissent les plages. Et cette méthode peut surprendre.

An "anti-youth" ? This time of year is special for the young people of Finland, who are arriving at the exam period, and who therefore also want to celebrate the END. To celebrate, the beaches in the south of the country, on the shores of the Baltic Sea, in Espoo, are favored. But the local police found a solution to dissuade them.

"She doesn’not attract young people"

Broadcasting classical music is the solution. Young people would be "allergic" to classical music. If this method is something to smile about, it has nevertheless been used by the police for several years, indicates the Finnish media yle.fi.

With the help of two large loudspeakers, installed near Haukilahti beach, classic music classics are broadcast on the shores of the Baltic Sea, such as The Four Seasons by Vivaldi, l’Ave Maria by Schubert or even The Blue Danube by Strauss. The melodies can be heard from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. to deter them from coming.

While this method is not new, its effectiveness is quite good. "For one reason or another, classical music does not attract young people, and young people stay away from places where there is classical music& ;quot;, assures a police officer. Every year, for the past six years, this system has been put in place, and "works well".

If the municipality makes such a decision, it is to preserve the place. "It is better for us to keep the young ones on dry land, and it is nice for families to come here to swim in the morning when the beach is clean"< /em>, underlines a police officer.

Note that this method is not just tested in Finland, but in several places around the world: in Los Angeles, in Rennes, in Kortrijk, in Dartford… and once again, it seems to prove itself, indicates Ouest France.
