The government website Rappel Conso is recalling several batches sold in 550g trays in more than fifty Lidl stores in France this Thursday, March 28.
Several lots concerned
These thighs from the Étal brand were marketed between March 8 and 20. Other distributors are concerned for similar products bearing other brands, specifies Rappel Conso, sharing the complete list of points of sale concerned.
In total, three batches are affected by this recall: batch 5044092272, identifiable by its GTIN 20928865 and its expiration date (DLC) March 17, 2024, lot 5044092272, GTIN 20928865, shelf life March 18, 2024 and lot 5044092272, GTIN 20928865, shelf life March 20, 2024.
An open refund procedure
According to the government website, "self-checks revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes". It is therefore recommended to no longer consume the product and destroy it. Customers who have eaten it despite everything and who present "fever, isolated or accompanied by headache, and body aches" must consult a doctor and report consumption.
As a reminder, listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and has an incubation period of up to eight weeks.
If you purchased one of these products, a refund at the point of sale is possible until the end of the recall procedure, Friday April 12.
