Coupe de France: BLMA loses to Tarbes after a match in which it missed

Lattes-Montpellier is eliminated from the French Cup after its defeat against Tarbes (64-69), in a meeting which will leave regrets. 

After a match where the BLMA missed the point, the Gazelles lost to Tarbes (64-69) and were therefore eliminated from the French Cup.&nbsp ;

Yet upon returning from the locker room, in a second half more to its advantage (32-25), Lattes-Montpellier allowed itself to believe in it in the last minutes but that was not enough. On the Tarbes side, the 17 points of young Carla Leite weighed in the balance to qualify for the semi-finals.

In the first half, BLMA was dominated on the floor in particular by the physical strength of the Tarbaises. In the first act, the Gazelles conceded 19 rebounds to Tarbes, including nine offensive ones. Rebounds which turned into a second chance for the Hautes-Pyrénées team who did not ask for so much. This was felt in terms of shooting, the BLMA firing only 22 times while Tarbes fired 34 times.
