Cycling: Lizéa Coll (VCCBéziers) wins the first round of the Coupe de France des Départements

Great hope of VCCBéziers, Lizéa Coll won the road race of the first round of the Coupe de France des Départements. A performance full of promise for the Béziers club.

Five hopefuls (Chloé Carré, Lizéa Coll, Baptiste Danoy, Nolan De Reuter and Alban Soria) from VCCBéziers were lined up last weekend for the first round of the Coupe de France des Départements (U15 and U17), organized by the Hérault Cycling Committee. After a 5.8km time trial on Saturday, where we will notably remember the places of honor of Lizéa Coll (6th overall and 4th in her U17 category), Chloé Carré (14th overall and 11th in his U17 category), or again Baptiste Danoy (29th), the road race which was held the next day on a 70km course saw the victory of Lizéa Coll, the fastest in the sprint.

Nolan de Reuter in the Top 20

Special mention also to her teammate Chloé Carré, 21st overall despite a fall 300m from the finish. Among the boys, Nolan de Reuter took 20th place, ahead of Baptiste Danoy (37th) and Alban Soria (69th).
