La société Edeis a été reconduite comme gestionnaire des monuments romains de la ville de Nîmes pour 8 ans.

Following a tender procedure initiated in 2023, the Edeis group was reappointed for the management of the Roman monuments in the city of Nîmes. A decision taken last July 6 during the municipal council.

A mark of trust

The company published a press release welcoming this decision. "We are very happy to be able to continue to work in the service of the territory and the influence of its fabulous Roman heritage. This renewal is a mark of confidence for our project and for all our collaborators committed on a daily basis to the people of Nîmes. We experience it as recognition of the work accomplished but even more as confidence in the ambitious project that we have developed", indicates Jean-Luc Schnoebelen, president of Edeis.

Edeis takes the opportunity to recall the main axes of his project:

"Diversify the visit offers to the arenas and the Magne Tower, by offering mediation supports adapted to all audiences and particularly families. "

"Increase visiting hours of monuments so that as many people as possible can benefit from them throughout the year.&quot ;

"Develop the current museography of the Maison Carrée in order to better promote its historical and architectural character in line with the work […] which allowed the inclusion of the Maison Carrée as a UNESCO world heritage site."

"Offering in August a new exceptional show combining local history and performing arts which, through multimedia projections and artistic performances will offer a  emotional and memorable experience, celebrating the history and beauty of Nîmes."

"Transform the Maison Saurel (Editor's note: in the Jardins de la Fontaine) in order to offer a complete experience combining restoration and immersion in the history of water in the Roman era."
