La 5e et dernière étape de l'Etoile de Bessèges est un contre-la-montre de 10, 6 km à Alès, dimanche 4 février.
Will the leader of Etoile de Bessèges and wearer of the coral jersey Mads Pedersen keep his tunic?? This is the challenge of this last stage knowing that with six seconds ahead of the young Frenchman from Alpecin Deceuninck Axel Laurance, the Dane from Lidl Trek will be hard to catch up especially since he won last year during the same time trial. Kevin Vauquelin (Arkea) and Kevin Geniets (Groupama-FDJ) 3rd and 4th overall at 12 and 16 seconds seem too far away to make up their gap.
2:31 p.m.: we are getting closer to the halfway point with 60/127 arriving. The EF took power by placing three of their riders in the first three places: 1. Sean Quinn, 2. Simon Carr, 3. Steffen Bisseger.
