European Table Tennis Championships: Alexis and Félix Lebrun successfully enter doubles before playing their singles matches

Brothers Félix and Alexis Lebrun made a successful start in doubles at the European Table Tennis Championships on Thursday, October 17 in Linz (Austria), thanks to their 3-1 victory over the Danes Martin Andersen and Jonathan Groth in the first round.
The two stars of French table tennis first let a set slip away before finally winning 9-11, 11-6, 11-5, 11-9 in the TipsArena in Linz.
Two months after their team bronze medal at the Olympics and that of Félix Lebrun in singles, the two brothers, as the No. 1 seeds in doubles (No. 7 in the world), will be among the big favorites for the final victory on Sunday.
In singles this afternoon
Félix and Alexis Lebrun will also be involved in singles on Thursday evening. The 18-year-old cadet and seeded No. 1 (world No. 7), will meet the Turk Abdullah Yigenler from 6:30 p.m., while his older brother (seeded No. 7) will face the Hungarian Bence Majoros at 8:10 p.m.

The other French pair Florian Bourrassaud and Esteban Dorr, player of the Alliance Nîmes-Montpellier with the Lebrun also easily qualified three sets to zero against the Czechs Lubomir Jancarik and Pavel Sirucek.
