Farmer and her daughter killed in Ariège: the driver indicted and placed in pre-trial detention

The driver of the vehicle which killed a farmer and her 12-year-old daughter on Tuesday January 23, 2024 in Pamiers, Ariège, was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention this Wednesday January 24.
At a farmers' dam, this Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in Ariège, a 34-year-old woman and her 12-year-old daughter were fatally struck.
This accident, involving a car, also left another victim, the father of the family, aged around forty, also injured and transferred to intensive care on same day. "His vital prognosis is no longer in jeopardy", indicated Olivier Mouysset, prosecutor de Foix, in a press release, cited by BFM. However, "he remains seriously injured."
Indicted
This Wednesday, January 24, 2024, the driver of the vehicle which killed this farmer and her child was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention, according to BFM.
The man was indicted for aggravated manslaughter, aggravated injury and driving a motor vehicle without insurance.
What about the other occupants of the vehicle ?
The two other occupants of the vehicle, subject to an OQTF (obligation to leave French territory), were not prosecuted. They were placed in an administrative detention center "with a view to their removal from the national territory".
