Fatal accident in Lunel: a 40-year-old man loses his life after hitting a plane tree

Le drame a eu lieu ce lundi 17 juin aux alentours de 17 h 30 sur l’avenue Maréchal-Leclerc, à hauteur du parc des Petits pins.

L’Avenue Maréchal-Leclerc, which connects Lunel to Sommières, was in mourning this Monday, June 17 around 5:30 p.m. following an attack ;a tragic traffic accident.

Victim of leaving the road, in circumstances that the gendarmerie investigation of the Lunel company will have to determine, a man aged 40, alone involved,&nbsp ;lost control of his car near Parc des Petits Pins.

His vehicle veered off to the right and collided head-on with a plane tree bordering the road.

Despite the rapid intervention of the Hérault firefighters and the immediate care provided, the driver could not be brought back to life.
