The firefighters were on site, not far from Joffre high school.

This Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., a fire broke out near the train tracks, just outside Montpellier. The firefighters went directly to the scene.

After a brief interruption in train traffic towards Lunel, between Montpellier and Nîmes, the latter seems to have returned to normal. The origin of the fire is, for the time being, not known.

The SNCF reminds users to consult their website sncf.com for all information concerning their journey.
