Thursday February 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the heart of the Mas del Fray farm (1), Audrey Burban and Nicolas Villain host the operation “Le salon à la ferme”.
The fruit of a partnership between the Confédération paysanne and Addearg, supported by the Occitanie region, the couple of pig breeders welcomes the public from 9 a.m. 30 to 1 p.m.
"The choice of this farm makes it possible to raise the question of food sovereignty, the theme of the year 2024 of the Conf’, underlines Hermance Louis in charge of communication for the established peasant union in Maruéjols-lès-Gardon. A farm where free-range pigs are fattened, slaughtered and their products marketed within a local area."
An operating conduct under the short circuit regime that the young market gardeners of the Ferme des Clos d’Uzès (Montaren, Saint-Médiers) are defending and will also present by the association for the development of agricultural and rural employment (Addearg).
"It’is a partner who does the same work as the Chamber of Agriculture and it is important that this possibility is presented", continues Hermance Louis.
