Few ended the evening of this Saturday, February 3 happy. Only SC Sète was able to celebrate a victory.

Many observers had their eyes fixed on the derby between the Sétois and the Frontignanais in R3. The recent events on the "Vert et blanc" bench, while they question a good number of amateurs, only confirm the absolute necessity, for the club, to climb as high as possible quickly the levels which will lead him to a level more in line with his history. What's more, after this surprising and painful episode, a victory was necessary.

For Adil El Hasnouni, the new coach, this is the success that was needed: "I retain the three points, even if these words come up too often, today they are particularly appropriate. We were laborious in the game even though we had possession. We had a good first half with a goal, the second was more complicated. The young Frontignan team imposed intense pressure on us and even came close to coming back. The important thing was to bounce back. Now we have three weeks during which we will be able to work calmly to prepare for the rest of the championship".

No victories, but a lot of positives

Paul Laugier showed a certain pride in his group. In Aveyron, Stade Balarucois waited for added time to equalize. The catastrophic start (0-2 after a quarter of an hour) was erased by a euphoric end to the match.

The Mézois visited La Paillade with the Atlas to climb. A rather high step that they should have taken as their involvement deserved it. For Éric Miramond, it’s a defeat but no blame is placed on his players.

Finally, in R1, Asfac conceded a draw. Facing a very good Balma team, the Muscatiers were up to the task. He lacked a bit of success, a bit of luck but not an excellent goalkeeper in front. Decisive on three occasions, it was only his talent that caused Asfac to lose two points.
