The results of this first day in the departmental championship are encouraging. The D2 clubs have notably made a good start.

It's started with the first day of the championship but a new interruption is already looming, at the beginning of October. In the meantime, the Occitanie Cup will be on the menu. On this autumn equinox day, equality had to be in the spotlight, although the scores of parity have not been very numerous.

Rain of goals

In D1, Gignacois and Lapeyradois were not stingy with goals. The men of the Castell-Jalbaud pair lost in injury time. The doubles of Fombaron and Bendria were not enough despite a great collective performance.

Saturday evening, the Mirevalais celebrated their arrival in D2 with a draw against a reserve of R2. One red against two for the opponents, it is a colorful, committed but honorable return.

The Pointus also won at home, launching their season perfectly. As for the Sète reserves, they are not left out with a precious success at the foot of the pyramids. A great start for the D2 clubs.

The derby for Balaruc

In D3, the derby in Balaruc turned to the advantage of the locals. Balarucois and Lapeyradois gave their all. An exceptional strike under the bar by Kevin Lidier, at the end of the first half, gave the locals the advantage, in a balanced and well-conducted match. In Mèze, the FC Domitia reserve team sank. This is the score of the day. Finally, in D4, the Social winner away makes an interesting return.
