Football: in Regional 2, the Vauverdois leader maintains the pace

Vauvert won a 14th victory against AS Méditerranée who woke up far too late. Free Midday

For the 21st and penultimate day, FC Vauvert won 3-2 on the field of AS Méditerranée. An eighth victory in a row which allows him to keep the lead in Pool A of Regional 2.

The Vauverdois leader is not giving up. It is better because Castelnau-Le Crès, its runner-up, neither. Sunday May 12, the Gardois won their fourteenth victory of the season, their eighth in a row, against an AS Méditerranée who did not deserve it.

The inspiration of Abbaoui, Benyamina’s double

On a brilliant inspiration, Abbaoui surprises everyone with a sixty-meter strike which lobbies Bornadel and allows his team to take the break just before half-time (0-2, 44th).

On returning from the locker room, the Héraultais raise the level of intensity and mastery and the dynamics of the match are reflected. Now more dangerous in attack, AS Méditerranée narrows the gap through Hasukaj (1-2, 54th). But she will not have the opportunity to equalize since Vauvert obtains a penalty which Benyamina is happy to transform (1-3, 67th).
