Football: in the Regional, Asfac holds the shock while SC Sète holds the rope

Un doublé de Florian Moureaux encourageant face au leader. MIDI LIBRE – G.M.

Les Muscatiers ont tenu tête au leader Rodéo, les Sétois ont de leur côté remis la marche avant.

In R3, the "Vert et blanc" have moved forward again and maintain their lead. The defeat at Millau and the pressure from Atlas-Paillade required a reaction from Adil El Hasnouni's men.

Against Pérols, we still had to fight. For the coach, this success is important: « It’s a complicated match, facing a team in danger, we especially had to react after Millau. Two suspended, the reserve team to watch, we have to adapt with the squad but the victory is there! ».

Hard-fought victory for the Balarucois

This is also a result which does not further affect the business of Mèze SFC. The Mézois suffered the law of an Aveyron team with positive dynamics but still have hope. For Éric Miramond, it’s frustrating: « We come back to 2-2, but careless errors penalize us despite a good second half ».

The Stade Balarucois was in Elne, with Audois not yet reassured about their fate. Despite a hostile crowd, the "Vert et noir" managed to score the goal that put them on the podium. For Mathieu Munoz, it is a hard-fought victory which is good for the morale of his troops.

The Asfac II of the Pascal-Lacoste duo was too quickly led, the young Muscatiers only competed in the second half. We will have to push harder to avoid a difficult end to the championship.

L’Asfac replaces

In R1, Asfac hosted FC Rodéo. The first in class must be satisfied with the point taken. Certainly, it’s a great team, it has the arguments to hold its place, but the Muscatiers made it tremble until the end. After leading 2-0 thanks to a double from Florian Moureaux, Greg Tanagro's men, although caught before the break, dominated the second half with chances. It’s a shame but we have to see the positive. Asfac, if successful in Canet-en-Roussillon on April 7, could very well find itself in the first half of the ranking.

Asfac/Rodeo 2-2,
SC Sète/Pérols 1-0,
Millau/Mèze SFC 4-2,
AF Catalan/Stade Balaruc 0-1,
Sud-Hérault/Asfac II 2-0. I subscribe to read more
