Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder was indicted for attempted rape and sexual assault, this Friday, according to Nice Matin.

AS Monaco's French striker Wissam Ben Yedder was indicted this Friday for "rape, attempted rape and sexual assault&quot according to Nice Matin and confirmed by the Nice prosecutor's office.

This comes one month after the complaint of rape, filed by two women, against the international player (19 caps).

According to the regional daily, the Monegasque player was placed under judicial supervision and a bail of 900,000 euros was requested from the attacker.

The Nice judicial police are in charge of the investigation.
