Former tennis champion Andy Roddick says he suffers from "different types of skin cancer"

American Andy Roddick, 41, announced in a podcast that he had suffered from various skin cancers since the end of his career.

Andy Roddick ended his career in 2012, with a world number one ranking in the mid-2000s and a US Open in 2003. The American, 41 years old today, was considered one of the best servers on the planet.

In his podcast Served with Andy Roddick, the former player with the backwards cap recounted the health problems he experienced ;he has crossed since he left the land.

"I never talked about it"

"I have suffered from different types of skin cancer since I stopped playing. I had a squamous cell tumor removed from my lip five or six years ago, I never talked about it", says Roddick.

During his speech, he advised tennis players to protect themselves well from UV rays. Their exposure to the latter must be taken seriously according to him.
