The duo of former professional players opened their second “Barber Kong” in Montpellier this Thursday, October 3, more precisely in Port-Marianne, in the heart of the brand new République district.
In Montpellier, Benjamin Psaume and Jérémie Clément had started by setting up in Albert 1er. The success of their brand, recognizable by its gorilla, encouraged them to expand.
“We were starting to no longer be able to meet all the demand, says the first, a former midfielder or striker from Sète, Arles-Avignon or Toulouse who also owns a salon in the City of the Popes. We were therefore looking for an opportunity in a dynamic area that suited our clientele, which is mostly young."
"Blank page"
The duo found their happiness on rue Roland-Petit with a "brand new premises, a blank page on which we can put our touch", enthuses the man who Montpellier HSC fans have long appreciated in his role as consultant for France Bleu Hérault.
In Port-Marianne, the team is made up of two hairdressers, including Jérémie Clément, a former defender for Paris FC who has since become a professional. A third is actively sought.
Barber Kong Port-Marianne, 63 rue Roland Petit, open Tuesday to Saturday (10am-7pm). Reservations on Planity or at 0630204397.
