Gaza: in Montpellier, pro-Palestinian associations announce 24 hours of occupation of Place de la Comédie

Around ten associations mobilized in support of the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip announce to organize "24 hours against the genocide" with the installation of tents and interventions on the Place de la Comédie from Friday until the next day.

"24 h against genocide. The Comedy with Rafah". Under this slogan, around ten pro-Palestinian associations including the BDS movement, Free Thought and Mrap, are calling for an occupation of the Place de la Comédie, with the installation of tents, from this Friday afternoon, until the next day, 3 p.m. This action will be punctuated by a "meeting/gathering", this Friday from 7:30 p.m., before a vigil.

This occupation is scheduled to last until Saturday 3 p.m. where a demonstration for "an immediate ceasefire", "the stop of the bombings" and "the lifting of the blockade of Gaza" is planned to depart from Place de la Comédie.
