Nausea and vomiting just after a meal

As usual, Andréa, a mother of about forty children, ;rsquo;years and her friend met at a restaurant to spend an evening with friends. Headed to a pizzeria where the two women ordered tortellini dishes.

The mother ordered pasta with a cream sauce with ham and her friend pasta with a sauce made with minced meat. But as they left the restaurant, the two friends began to feel strange symptoms.

< p>Andrea is nauseous while her friend regurgitates her entire meal. The next day, their condition has not improved. They then decide to go to the hospital.

While the mother's friend was able to quickly leave the emergency room, Andrea's condition deteriorated. On September 10, her husband received a call from the hospital, telling him that the mother of the family had died, specifies Blick.

Fried rice syndrome

Following this tragedy, the German police opened an investigation for negligent homicide. According to initial reports, at least four customers of the restaurant reported feeling unwell when they left the establishment. The manager's lawyer, for his part, claims that there is no link between the mother's death and her meals.

“The pathology is currently being analyzed to determine the cause of death and whether the food may have played a role,”, the authorities said.

According to Bild, this tragic food poisoning is due to the bacteria Bacillus cereus, to which pasta and rice are sensitive. It has also been found in tortellini, explain our colleagues who speak of fried rice syndrome.
