Visconti Retro: "The Cheetah"

Cinema.Drama, historical, war (3h05) by Luchino Visconti, with Burt Lancaster, Romolo Valli, Terence Hill. In 1860, while Sicily is submerged by the upheavals of Garibaldi and his Red Shirts, Prince Salina goes with his entire family to his residence in Donnafugata. Foreseeing the decline of the aristocracy, the latter accepts a misalliance and marries his nephew Tancred to the daughter of the mayor of the city, representing the rising class.
