Gunshots in the middle of the night in a residence in downtown Sète, the suspect(s) sought by the police

The suspect(s) are being sought by the police after shots were fired in a residence in downtown Sète around 11 p.m. this Friday, February 23, 2024.

The night was rough in the Quai du Bosc area, in the city center of Sète. According to our information, on Friday February 23, shots rang out in a residence not far from the police station. It was around 11 p.m.

The police officers who went to the scene found that the door of one of the apartments was riddled with several bullet holes. Fortunately, the shots caused no injuries. The projectiles would not have passed through the door. 

The apartment was empty

The author of these mysterious gunshots had disappeared when the police arrived. According to the first elements noted on site, the apartment in question was empty at the time of the events.  

A police investigation is underway to identify and find the suspect(s) in this case. But also the nature and origin of the weapon used for this attempted attack at home. As for the motive, it also remains an enigma for the moment.
