Sacrés champions d'Europe face au Danemark en janvier, les Bleus disputeront la saison prochaine une nouvelle compétition

The French men's handball team will compete next season with Denmark, Sweden and Norway to occupy the international qualifying windows for Euro-2026 from which it is exempt as champion of Europe, the French Federation announced Thursday.

This competition, called the EHF Euro Cup, will pit the Blues against each other and the three organizing countries of the next Euro, which are among the best selections in the world, in a two-way match format.

The Blues program during the EHF Euro Cup:

1st day (November 6-7): France – Sweden
2nd day (November 9-11): Norway – France
3rd day (March 12-13, 2025): Denmark – France
4th day (March 15-16, 2025): France – Denmark
5th day (May 7-8, 2025): Sweden – France
6th day (May 11, 2025): France – Norway

The six meetings on the menu for each selection will be brought together in three international windows: November 2024, March and May 2025.

This competition has the appearance of the Golden League, an annual competition with Denmark and Norway that the French teams competed in from 2012 to 2022 before withdrawing.
