The madness spread again in the Ferrari stands this Friday. Not necessarily at the start, it's tastier when there's a bit of a wait. With four consecutive saves, Mesnard lit the fuse but the offensive difficulties penalized the team. At 5-8, Frontignan was left with two penalties and a goal from Mesnard…

Asier Antonio's men did not give up, however, and a few tactical adjustments paid off. With Leon in particular, they came back to two goals at the break (12-14).

A wave "Black and gold"

It was then that the supporters were going to get much more than their money's worth. Tesio and Gaillard charged, Mesnard stopped a shot and sent Isnard on the counter-attack: 15-15. Camara, like a cat, then stole a ball and gave his team the advantage (18-17) before adding two more goals to his tally (21-18). Leon, very efficient in shooting, then scored twice and when Mesnard made another save followed by a goal from Camara, Ferrari literally went up in flames (24-18).

Suspense

The two teams were then in overdrive, and the elusive Taufond revived the visitors (27-23) who, in a final push, caused many penalties (36-34). The tension was at its peak, Pelegrin scored a fantastic goal then Leon widened the gap again (38-35) before lying down, victim of cramps.

We could then think that the suspense was over. But that was without counting this devil from Taufond, who took care of absolutely everything for Pontault, and especially to bring his team back to 38-36 with 40 seconds to go… hellip; Fortunately, Isnard then released Ferrari for a memorable victory. One more.
