He had a bullet in the head: a motorist discovers a body in the middle of the night on the side of an isolated road

Ce jeudi 4 janvier 2024, une automobiliste a découvert, au sud de Montauban dans le Tarn-et-Garonne, le corps d'un homme mort d'une balle dans la tête.

It was early in the evening of Thursday, January 4, that a motorist, who was looking for directions, discovered the body of a man dead from a bullet in the head, south of Montauban in Occitanie. A settling of scores ?

Lost at night in an isolated area near a Travelers camp, this motorist finds herself face to face with a lifeless body, a bloody head, on the side of the road. The latter immediately contacted emergency services.

On arrival, the Samu quickly noted the death of the man, apparently dead for a while due to his severe hypothermia, reports the daily.

"It is still difficult to say that it was intentional homicide. No weapon was used. #39;was found nearby, and cords were discovered near the body,” carefully detailed the deputy public prosecutor of Montauban, Manon Noël. She then confirmed the death "from a bullet shot in the head".

The investigations are continuing, but certain elements would push the investigators to consider the possibility of settling scores. If the identity of the victim is "assumed" by Manon Noël, it would be a member of the traveling community, according to information from the regional daily.
