During a meeting in the "Under 15" in Sens, a teenager asked to leave the field due to chest pain, according to France Bleu Auxerre. A few minutes later, he lost consciousness on the bench and could not be revived afterwards.

After being substituted, the player lost consciousness on the bench. A cardiac massage was given to him quickly, then the firefighters and the SAMU were called a little before 2 p.m. and took over.

The 13-year-old teenager was then taken in absolute emergency to Sens hospital, where he was pronounced dead in the middle of the afternoon , probably due to cardiac arrest.

"According to the first information given to us there was no shock during the meeting, it was would have collapsed", confirms Romain Crocco, deputy mayor of Sens, in charge of sport with France Bleu Auxerre.

A psychological unit will be organized, for those present at the match, from this Monday at the community hall of Saint-Clément (Yonne) at 6 p.m.
