He made sexual propositions by message to a college student: a 37-year-old teacher suspended and indicted

A teacher at the college in Delle, a small town located in the Territoire de Belfort, was indicted this month for having made sexual advances towards a student at his establishment.

Justice will have to decide. A teacher, aged 37, from the school campus of Delle, a small town near the Swiss border in Franche-Comté, is suspected of having made advances "of a sexual nature" several times to a schoolgirl, reports France Bleu.

An open judicial investigation

It was the young girl's parents who filed a complaint on March 4 at the Delle gendarmerie. They reported the actions towards their daughter, who is in third grade, of a teacher who works where she goes to school.

While it is unknown whether the man was his teacher, the evidence is overwhelming. Several specific messages were found on the schoolgirl's cell phone.

According to information relayed by France Bleu, during his custody, the teacher did not deny the facts with which he is accused.

The thirty-year-old was taken into police custody and indicted for "sexual propositions made to a fifteen-year-old minor", indicated the Belfort public prosecutor's office. The accused was also placed under judicial supervision pending the progress of the investigation and is obviously prohibited from approaching the victim.

The rectorate also took action and followed the procedure: the 37-year-old man was suspended from his duties as a precautionary measure during the investigation which continues. Note that a judicial investigation was opened to determine whether the teacher would have acted in the same way with other students.
