“He’s not going to have breast milk”: his baby pony disappears in the middle of the night, a car engine heard

On May 25, 2024 in Loire-Atlantique, the owner of a pony and her little one reported the disappearance of the latter. She fears that this foal will die of starvation, due to lack of mother's milk.

"You have to feed him, otherwise he will die", the owner of the animal fears him worse. And for good reason, the foal which vanished under mysterious circumstances is barely 15 days old. Unweaned, it could be poorly fed and put in danger.

Reason why she is launching a call for witnesses, relayed by our colleagues from France bleu. The foal was born about two weeks ago, a first on the property. After checking the enclosure and the pond nearby, in vain, she asks for help.

Race against time

"The problem is that he's not going to get breast milk! I hope if he was caught they have what they need to feed him. Because taking an animal like that is very nice, but you have to feed it behind, otherwise it will die, deplores the owner.

She suspects a theft

Because according to her, the animal was stolen from her. Her husband would have heard a car engine not far from the property, around 4 a.m. on the night of her disappearance, while going to work.

The couple checked that it was not their neighbors, but they did not use their vehicle at that time. The owner of the animal has filed a handrail with the gendarmerie.
