The Millau Grands Causse tourist office provides this all-terrain chair free of charge, all summer.

The departmental disabled sports committee of Aveyron and the community of communes Millau grands causses do everything to ensure that the hiking trails are accessible to all. The two entities have just signed a partnership for the provision of a Bécasine all summer, at the tourist office.

An all-terrain hiking chair

La Bécasine "is a two-wheeled all-terrain hiking chair, for anyone with reduced mobility, towed by two able-bodied people. It allows walks in urban areas as well as in the countryside, on wide and rolling paths (unlike the joëlette which is more suitable for off-road) , describes the office tourism. It offers great opportunities for short walks and hikes, taking a deep breath of nature."

Free provision

The machine is made available free of charge by the Millau Grands Causses tourist office. Only a deposit check of 150€ and a valid identity document will be requested. Two routes are recommended by the agents of the community of communes, one in the Cade forest, the other more urban, mixing the streets of fish and the banks of the Tarn.
