Holy Week: masses celebrated in Bagnols and surrounding areas

The parish group of Bagnols-sur-Cèze announces all masses and celebrations.

Starting this Sunday, March 24 (Palm Sunday), Christians celebrate Holy Week, which ends on Easter Day. This Saturday, March 23, celebration at 6 p.m., at Ancise (blessing of the palms). Sunday, March 24, at 10:30 a.m., masses at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church (Bagnols), in Saint-Pons-la-Calm and in Vénéjan (with blessing of the palms at all masses). Thursday March 28, Maundy Thursday, at 6 p.m.: the Lord's Supper at Saint-Jean-Baptiste (Bagnols) and at Saint-Marcel-de-Careiret. Friday March 29, Good Friday, at 3 p.m.: Stations of the Cross in churches; at 6 p.m., the Passion of the Lord in Saint-Jean-Baptiste (Bagnols). Saturday March 30, Easter Vigil (a fire is lit in front of the church and a procession of the Light brings the crowd in), at 9 p.m.: Saint-Jean-Baptiste (Bagnols). Sunday March 31, Easter, at 10:30 a.m.: Saint-Jean-Baptiste church (Bagnols), in Saint-Étienne-des-Sorts and Le Pin.
