State services indicate that they have listed nearly 600 accommodations for seasonal workers in Hérault, including 65 for the city of Sète.

Housing your seasonal workers is one of the headaches for Sète employers as the summer period approaches. Some have even invested in apartments to simplify the recruitment process while others prefer to favor local candidates, as they indicated to us in a previous article.

Aware of the problem, the Hérault prefecture brought its partners around the table, looking for solutions. A working group which resulted in the provision of several accommodations in the main towns on the Hérault coast.

Nearly six hundred accommodations financially accessible to seasonal workers, from single rooms to studios and all furnished, listed in the "My housing assistance" from the website mes-aides.francetravail.fr. In Sète, it’s the Habitats Jeunes association which is collaborating on the project, via the three residences it manages. In total, 65 accommodations are available on Île Singulière.
