Human leg found on New York subway, police searching for rest of body

A human leg was discovered along a subway track in New York, in the Bronx. An investigation was opened to find the body. 

It's a mysterious and macabre discovery that the NYPD (New York Police Department) made last weekend: a leg was found along the tracks of the line 4 of the New York megalopolis subway, in the Bronx borough.

According to information from American media, relayed by our colleagues from BFMTV, the leg was found around the beginning of -noon Saturday February 17 without the rest of the body having been identified nearby or the authorities being able to confirm whether it is a leg of a male ;man or woman. 

The New York subway, scene of dramatic incidents

The report of a forensic doctor mobilized on the case and awaited while an investigation was opened to find out who owned this leg. 

This is not the first time that the New York subway has been the scene of a dramatic incident. Last week, a shooting left one dead and five injured on the platform of another station in the Bronx.
