Lundi 24 juin, un touriste marseillais s’est retrouvé en trottinette électrique, sur le périphérique extérieur toulousain. Totalement illégal et très dangereux, les gendarmes sont intervenus pour stopper le conducteur.

On Monday, when the Marseillais arrives at Toulouse station, he still has a little way to go before reaching his destination. He then launches his GPS, gets on his scooter, and begins his journey.

His car does not exceed 25 km/h, but he finds himself on the same lanes as cars going at 90 km/h, in a dangerous situation. He does not question the decision of his GPS to take him to the outer ring road, and continues on his route, defying the ban on driving on expressways for scooters.

A curious question

Obviously, the pilot knew the rules, because when a patrol officer present on site asked him to stop, the Marseillais continued on his way, refusing to interrupt his journey. The soldiers from the motorized platoon then intervened to stop the individual. He is neither under the influence of alcohol nor on the run, just determined to reach his destination, Avenue desUnis.

His journey nevertheless ended when he was intercepted and then fined by the PMO, the soldiers of the Motorized Platoon. This incident gave rise to a reminder of the laws on the use of scooters, published on Facebook by the gendarmes.
