A 78-year-old retiree wishes to file a complaint against an anesthetist at a Toulouse hospital, whom she accuses of having had her operation postponed for a day under the pretext that it was "Lunch break time".

Nelly Kinowski, a retiree, wants to condemn the Rangueil hospital and especially the anesthetist who should have put her to sleep before a surgical procedure.

"What this lady did is insane. As there was a delay, she decided not to proceed with my anesthesia because it was lunch break, she said angrily. An internal source from the " rsquo;health establishment confirmed this version with la Dépêche du Midi.

Pain in the intestines

This resident of Montlaur had been suffering from pain in her intestines for several months. She was initially operated on at the Monié clinic in Villefranche-de-Lauragais, where several polyps in her viscera were removed. Due to lack of sufficient technical resources, the specialist referred him to Rangueil for hospitalization.

"I had to drink four liters of a vile liquid to purge my intestines. Around 12:15 p.m., the anesthetist arrives with his microcomputer in the room and says: "I'm leaving." It made me angry. I had to play billiards the next day. We had to drink the same product and stay fast."

For the hospital management, the anesthetist did not commit any fault: "Delays and various hazards may occur and there is nothing abnormal. The anesthetist chose not to start the anesthesia during this late window, as the procedure had to last longer than 10 minutes. This in a context where there was no loss of opportunity for the patient. This is a way of proceeding that is part of current practices."
