“I’m used to getting fucked for free”: JoeyStarr breaks silence after accusations of violence against his son

Former NTM member Joey Starr spoke out about the accusations against him on July 13, 2024.

JoeyStarr, real name Didier Morville, is implicated in a case of violence against his 9-year-old son. An investigation was opened and entrusted to the minors protection brigade .

"Keep stirring shit if it makes you happy"

This July 13, the 56-year-old rapper spoke on Instagram declaring himself innocent in this affair: "Communication for all my loved ones: Don't worry, I'm used to getting fucked for free, he began. "My biggest worry is for my son who is the real victim of the stormy relationship I have with his mother".

And to add: "For the others, keep stirring up shit if it makes you happy. I just hope that when it comes time to deny, there will be as many participants."

The mother filed a complaint

As a reminder, the rapper's ex-partner denounces blows inflicted on their son following a learning of a hygiene gesture. The tone is said to have risen on the father's side, who was said to have been particularly violent.

The boy's mother then filed a complaint on July 10 at the Nogent-sur-Marne police station (Val-de-Marne). The son was questioned by the police after a forensic examination was carried out.

Convicted in 2009 for domestic violence

The investigation aims to clarify the mitigating circumstances and the materiality of the episode reported in the complaint.

In the past, JoeyStarr has had many run-ins with the law. In 2009, he was convicted of domestic violence against the mother of his first two sons. He was also prosecuted in 1998 for assaulting an Air France flight attendant. The rapper slapped her and spat in her face before throwing a book at her.
