Organic wines on the menu

This event mainly aims to (re)discover organic wines at the forty participating businesses: wine bars, wine merchants, restaurants and delicatessens. They all highlight the organic vintages that appear on their menu. At Trinquefougasse O'Sud, for example, wines from organic farming represent well over half of the references. Always offered for tasting before sitting at the table, the wines are described by the staff, some of whom are trained in sommelier training. Even if during this period, the manager, Damien Albouy recognizes that the educational effort is not necessary:   "90% of our customers at the moment are winegrowers. They come by tram from the Parc Expos." Sunday evening, the Vinifilles organized their evening in the West, in Saint-Jean-de-Védas. The association, which brings together winegrowers from across the region, is more than 80% organic. The region remains the leading organic vineyard in the world.

To close the event, a conference is offered at the Corum at 7 p.m. in the Salon du Belvédère at the Corum. The theme: biodiversity, soils, climate… wine: do you need to have the #bio reflex ?
