This Saturday, June 8, some of the students from Racine College will dedicate the brochure of testimonies that they created with the help of their teacher Gilles Roumieux. Lavabreille: the inauguration of the solar power plant cancelled

Initially scheduled for this Thursday, June 6 at 11 a.m., the official inauguration of the photovoltaic plant in service in the Lacoste-Lavabreille area, in Saint-Martin-de-Valgégales, is finally postponed. Alès Agglo, organizer of the ceremony, mentioned in a press release a constraint on the agenda of Sylvain Panas, Occitanie regional director of Total Énergies. The international firm operates this plant installed on 30 ha of land. At the same time, the CERBA collective (Citizen Renewable Energy of the Alésien Basin), had called for a gathering on site at the same time to "denounce the absurdity of this project  » led « hand in hand by Alès Agglomération and the oil giant". A gathering which remains maintained despite the cancellation of the inauguration.

The tribute: commemoration of the conflict in Indochina

This Saturday, June 8, at 9 a.m., at the Square de Verdun, in Alès, it will be the National Day of Tribute to the Dead for France in Indochina. 83,300 French fighters were killed, between 1945 and 1954, during this conflict.

A "marathon" for the benefit of the Guilhan Fabre challenge

This Thursday, June 6, in Anduze from 5 p.m., the local Union of Anduzian traders is participating in the Guilhan Fabre challenge, a stage of which takes place in the town, for the benefit of the fight against cancer (3 &euro donation for an engraved pen).
